Through their sponsorship of CATEE 2017, the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) will provide COMPLIMENTARY full conference registrations to a limited number of municipal and county government officials/employees to attend the CATEE 2017 – Texas Energy Summit.  This year’s event will be held at the Dallas/Plano Marriot at Legacy Town Center in Plano, Texas on November 13-15, 2017, with a focus on energy efficiency and air quality, as well as renewable energy workshops and sessions oriented toward local government opportunities. Eligible applicants should be municipal or county government employees directly involved in any area dealing with facility building maintenance and operations, environmental (air, water, transportation, energy) planning, building permitting and planning officials/ inspectors, building programs coordinators, project managers and/or facility architects and engineers.  Applications should be submitted by October 15, 2017 for consideration.  Priority will be given to those eligible applicants who have registered to attend the full conference (not just one day), and who have not received this scholarship in the past.   This scholarship does not cover costs associated with workshops or tours that are offered for a fee.
