LEED v.4

This workshop will present the differences between the LEED 2009 ratings system and the new LEED v.4 ratings system. The content will be specific to LEED BD+C, LEED for Schools, and LEED for Core and Shell. Time will be reserved for specific questions and individual issues which the audience may wish to discuss.

This workshop will deal with changes to the LEED rating system. The primary focus will be on application and implementation approaches in the LEED v4 BD+C rating system.

Learning Objectives:

  • Provide an overview of the major changes in the LEED v4 BD+C rating system;
  • Explore the thought process behind those changes taking into account LEED’s much stronger role in the global green marketplace;
  • Explore early lessons learned from LEED v4 pilot projects;
  • Explore new concepts in the Materials & Resources section; such as, Building Product Disclosure and Optimization.
