ERI, IC3, and IECC 2015 Workshop

This workshop provides a detailed overview into the use of the IC3 calculator to demonstrate compliance with the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code.  The IC3 is capable of demonstrating compliance with either the Simulated Performance Alternative or the Energy Rating Index Compliance Alternative.  In addition, the updated IC3 has been reformatted to operate on mobile devices, such as tablets, as well as PCs.

Speaker – Shirley Ellis

Ms. Ellis has been active in developing, enforcing and promoting energy codes, and providing training, for over 30 years in various municipalities, private companies and institutions.  She is ESL’s Texas Emission Reduction Plan energy code expert, providing state-wide technical support to the State, municipalities and councils of governments and to individuals in the building industry. In addition she has delivered hundreds of trainings across the US, and in Jamaica and China, for the ESL and the ICC.  Ms.Ellis serves on the International Code Council Board of Directors.
